There are so many sad changes in the world happening as a result of the virus. Just the title of this blog is making me feel sad. The babies who were born within this sad, confusing time period, the new mothers- it's a crazy, new baby stress storm at the best of times but what they are having to do at the moment is verging on superhuman- birthing alone/partly alone, not having visitors, combined with limited support. It is just crazy.
So I want to do something nice for these mother's who couldn't have the births that they wanted and planned for. Those first few weeks of settling in to a normal routine have been turned on their heads. And those who had planned newborn shoots... which obviously couldn't go ahead.
For these mother's I am going to give them something to look forward to for when all of this is over...
A massively discounted sitter session.
I'm imagining that life will return to normal before September, which coincides with when your baby will be sitting (yay!) so for all babies born during this isolation period just pop me a message and I'll book you in for then. For the squishy leg rolls, gorgeous grins and clapping hands that September will bring (don't worry if they aren't quite sitting by then).
Please share with any new mothers,
