Scrap the Plastic Tat...
Using toys made from natural materials encourages your child to play, explore and use their imaginations.
I was in Crocodile Toys in Cirencester recently and the lovely gentleman there (Mark) was talking to me about children and play with a fabulous explanation- give a child a pebble and they will hold it, turn it around in their hands and discover it. If you give a child a lightweight, plastic toy then they will just throw it and toss it around.
If you gave them a heavy, wooden toy then they will explore it, like the stone. Not only that but because they are passive toys (not flashing lights/noises) the children make their own play and decide the games themselves.

If you haven’t discovered Crocodile Toys in Cirencester then you are missing out!
In the studio I have wooden toys, glass balls, mirrors, bubbles- all the things that not only look gorgeous in sessions but your baby loves to explore.
